The Bag Dilemma

I don't buy much online and I rarely buy anything from ebay as I much prefer seeing items in real life, having a touch of the fabric/material and checking the size. However, I was lured in by the amazingly cheap satchel bags that have a hint of the Mulberry Alexa about them and when I saw this one for £20 and checked the measurements I thought it would be a good bag for work.

However, I have an inability to measure things apparently, because this bag is NOT suitable for work, and I therefore have a dilemma. What do I do? It isn't fit for the purpose I bought it for, but it is a very nice bag. I'm not sure if I want to sell it, but I'm not opposed to the idea - if you're interested let me know and we can discuss!

Do you enjoy online shopping? Do you have any advice for me as someone who apparently isn't very good at it...?

I always find that with bags - they're either too big or too small for work! Better though that they're too small because I always end up carrying far too much rubbish otherwise...

And thank you for your lovely comment - unfortunately somehow it got deleted (by me, probably, being an idiot...) - anyway, thank you! And woooo to it being your 5th anniversary soon! It's a special one so you definitely ought to celebrate xxx

I just want the perfect one, I'm currently using a Primark bag that's about 5 years old! It's not pretty!

Aw, don't worry! Just glad you saw it :) hopefully we'll go out for a posh meal or something like that. We're also hopefully getting some kittens soon, so that will be the best anniversary present ever! :) x

When you buy a bag online try and find a picture of a model using the bag so you get a better idea of the size :) I'm always the same, when it says a bag is like 30cms long I think "oh that's nice and big" then actually see it and it doesn't seem as big!x

I'm assuming it's smaller than it looks? Would it do for weekends etc when you aren't lugging round as much stuff? Or perhaps wrap it back up and give it to someone for Christmas?

I think the bag is awesome, and would look really great as a going-out bag. :)
